Hello, welcome to my website

After a number of years working in the Theatre and Dance Industry, I have become known for my bold and expressive sense of place within my canvases of Cornish landscape and seascape paintings. I like to capture the light, drama and ever changing theatre of the land and sea inherent to Cornwall.
I use Palette knives, large brushes and many other objects to create the mark making, movement and energy within my canvas.

I paint with oil and mixed media to express feelings for the wild, ancient landscape and coastline.
I walk the landscape with my sketchbook trying to capture the wildness and fragility of a place,  usually with my two Cocker Spaniels Mavis and Lily.

I exhibit in Cornwall, London and the South East and have paintings in private collections both here and abroad.
